ITX is expanding into Sweden—our first location outside Norway

ITX has officially established itself in Sweden. As of October 1, 2026, we will have our own Swedish division, and for the first time in our history, we are expanding our customer service system across the border. This is a major step for us, and one we’ve been looking forward to sharing.

From Growth in Norway to Taking the Leap Across the Border

ITX was founded in Stokke in 2012 by Morten F. Klausen and Stian Halseth, with one idea in mind: to bring all customer communication together in one place. Today, we have nearly 50 employees and customers in 14 countries, and we’ve been named a “Gazelle Company” four times—including the last three years in a row.

Having customers in 14 countries shows that our solution works well beyond Norway’s borders, and many of them already have operations in Sweden. Now we’re taking the next step and establishing a presence with our own team in Stockholm to be even closer to them.

Why Sweden, of all places?

Sweden is a natural first choice. The market resembles the Norwegian one in many ways: high digital maturity, strong expectations for good customer service, and a business community that values simple, secure solutions.

At the same time, we already have a number of customers in Sweden, and they deserve the same level of personal attention as our customers in Norway. That’s why we’re now establishing a presence with our own staff in Stockholm. This means faster responses, follow-up in Swedish, and colleagues who know the market from the inside.

For ITX, good customer communication is all about relationships. Trust is built more easily when you can meet face-to-face, have a cup of coffee, and understand the customer’s day-to-day reality. A local presence and strong roots have always been important to us, and that’s true in Sweden as well.

With our own team in Stockholm, we can follow up with our Swedish customers more closely, listen more attentively to their needs, and continue to develop ITX in line with what they require. At the same time, we’re ready to help new Swedish businesses that want simpler and more personalized customer communication.

Welcome to ITX, Swedish colleagues!

The Stockholm office will be staffed by Robert Jansson and Madelen Andrén from day one. Both have solid experience, local market knowledge, and a strong network in the Swedish market. The Norwegian organization contributes technology, operations, and expertise, while the Swedish team ensures a local presence and execution capabilities.

“ITX had built something really great in Norway, but wasn’t yet established in Sweden. We know the market and the industry well, and saw an opportunity to work together to create something we believe is missing in the Swedish market,” says Madelen Andrén.

We are incredibly happy to welcome Robert and Madelen.

About ITX – CRM and Contact Center in a Single System

ITX is a customer service system that brings together CRM and a contact center in one place. Phone calls, email, chat, and case management are all handled within the same solution, giving the entire team a comprehensive overview of every customer and every inquiry.

The system can be integrated with a variety of other solutions, such as financial systems, ERP, and industry-specific systems. This makes ITX relevant for all businesses that communicate with customers, whether they operate in B2B or B2C.

Did you catch the mystery in ITX?

In the weeks leading up to the launch, we followed our colleague CG in a special mini-series on social media. He was convinced that everyone knew something—except him. Over the course of five episodes, he pored over calendars, camped outside meeting rooms, and hunted for a mysterious laptop bag—until the truth came out on October 1.

Did you spot all the Swedish Easter eggs along the way? Dumle, IKEA, and “ärenden” were just a few of them. Watch the whole series and count them yourself.

The Way Forward

Sweden is our first market outside of Norway, but this is just the beginning. We look forward to getting to know Swedish businesses, learning from new customers, and continuing to build a customer service system that makes everyday life easier for people who interact with customers every day.

Sweden—here we go!
